In the Gobi I stayed in a ger, the traditional home of the nomadic Mongolians, and this 85 year old woman was a member of the family who owned the gers.

About Diane Height

Diane Height

Diane is a published writer. Her stories have appeared in numerous magazines. Currently, she is working towards publishing her first novel to be followed by an in-depth book on Mongolia illustrated by her photographs. She recently spent five years living and working in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia which allowed extensive travel throughout this remote and unique country. Her inspiration for writing and photography comes from a love of travel, adventure and the world at large. Images available for licensing.
